The Carmel Symphony League will host its annual Spring Luncheon on Tuesday, April 10 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Ind. Luncheon at 11 a.m. Tickets are $45; RSVP deadline is March 30.

Proceeds of the event benefit the CSO education programs that work to foster the musical talent and education of young artists including the Family Fun! Concert and the annual Young Artists Competition. This year’s luncheon entertainment will be provided by Cheryl Wyatt, a former lead vocalist with the United States Air Force. She has performed with the Carmel Community Players and is a regular vocalist for St. Luke’s United Methodist Contemporary Worship Service.

“The symphony is extraordinarily lucky to have this group to help support us.” said Alan Davis, CSO President and CEO. “Their work is invaluable, and their dedication much appreciated.”

“The CSO League Luncheon is a wonderful way to get together with friends and have fun … for a great cause!” says CSO League President Sandra Pirkle. “We are so proud of the impact we make every year with the proceeds we raise from this event.”

A perennial favorite are the gift baskets created by League members to be bid on by luncheon attendees. This year, a special item, “Lunch with Janna” includes lunch for three lucky winners with Music Director Janna Hymes at Sahm’s Ale House. Proceeds from the event go toward funding the Young Artists Competition scholarships and sponsoring the ‘Family Fun!’ concert. In addition, this year the League will be selling “Music Matters” t-shirts and sweatshirts ($10 for t-shirts and $15 for sweatshirts).
