Carmel Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops Performance at the Palladium

The Carmel Symphony welcomes Guest Conductor Paul Langford to the Palladium  

CARMEL, Ind. – The Carmel Symphony Orchestra will celebrate the holidays with two pops concerts Dec. 10 at the Palladium featuring a playful range of nearly 20 seasonal favorites such as “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and “Jingle Bell Rock” and performances by Broadway actor Ben Davis, Carmel native and star of Disney’s “Sydney to the Max” Amelia Wray, the Indiana Ballet Conservatory and Second Presbyterian Church Choir.

“We are excited to bring some of our best talent to the stage for this year’s Holiday Pops concert. Audiences can expect a blockbuster show which ends with an audience sing-along and the chance to celebrate with a few celebrity guests in attendance. This will be a performance not to be missed” says Executive Director Anne Marie Chastain.

The Palladium’s halls will be decked out, musicians will be playing in the lobby before the shows and Santa will be in attendance during intermission. Patrons can enjoy a festive cocktail before the show.

At the 7 p.m. performance, longtime Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard will join the orchestra, playing French horn on select pieces and Mayor-elect Sue Finkam also will be in attendance.

Chicago-based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor Paul Langford will serve as guest conductor. Langford’s works have been performed by vocal and instrumental groups all over the world, including The Chicagoland Pops, West Michigan Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, Voices of Liberty, GLAD, Willow Creek Community Church, multiple Disney parks, and many orchestras around the nation.
