Martin Meyer

Marty Meyer is a professional cellist of Indianapolis, Indiana. He has performed with several regional orchestras, including the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Carmel Symphony (Associate Principal), Terre Haute Symphony, and Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. He has taught many students of all ages in Fort Wayne, Chicago, and Indianapolis.

 

As a student at Butler University, Marty participated in several competitions. He won First Prize in the Butler University Concerto Competition, Indianapolis Matinee Musicale, and Pi Kappa Lambda Scholarship Competition. He graduated in 2016 with a double major in music and actuarial science. He has held positions in the fields of actuarial science, marketing, and data analytics. He currently works for JD Finish Line as a merchandise analyst.

 

Aside from cello, Marty enjoys sports, coding, piano, and composition.
